2009 Infiniti FX (FX35 / FX50)

Just wait till we mod one up. I was playing around a little, & You guys are gonna really like it in modd'd form. It's gonna make our rides look dated a bit.
 
From those sides angles I can sort of see the evolution in the headlight design.

Transmission looks like fun.
Seem in the door being sculpted instead of hard lines is cool.
C pillar looks cool, one of my favorite parts of the FX.
Shorter rear bumpers are a plus.

Anyone at Infiniti want to give me one? :4tongue:
 
in the motor trend pictures it looks pretty good from a distance...i am kinda enjoying the new exterior because i like how the doors are sculpted and not flat...but not being too bubbly at the same time if you get me...Interior looks on point. i still dont understand why the would put the side vents...

side mirrors look really big. i really wanna hear how this beast sounds with a 5.0L V8
 
Not too shabby at all.....still not digging the headlights and how the hood/nose of the car kinda slants, but I guess it gives it that sport look to it. The rear isnt that bad, but I'm gonna have to wait to see it in person. All in all I think its pretty nice specially with the 5.0 & the 7 Speed Auto....:top:
 
they extended the wheelbase a bit by moving the front wheels foward, that gave the extra room for the fender vents, it might have looked funny without them & the larger fender area between the seem & the wheel. the fender vents are the one thing I'm a bit iffy on, I would think maybe they might look better body color so they blend in rather than jump out. overall I'd take it no problem though.

sooo, who's gonna be the first in line? not I, I really shouldn't even be able to afford the 03 I got now:tongue:
 
Overall I'm happy with how the new FX turned out. I am more than glad I got into an '08 so maybe in four plus years, I'll be ready to jump into another FX with the extra hp and fancy interior.
 
Well, it's not as bad as I was worried about. Kinda looks ok. I do think it could've done well without the side vents, they just look out of place. It looks angry, which isn't a bad thing, but the rear does look a lot like the EX. I guess they can get away with it, cause BMW's X3 looks like "Honey I Shrunk the X5". I love the interior, very technology friendly looking as well as plush.

If they got rid of the side vents, I'd think more about getting one in the future. But right now I'm glad I've got my '07.

Hey Doc, you and turbo were both ahead of your time with the paddle shifter mod!
