From the rear quarter, it really looks like a hopp'd up EX
I think there's way too much going on in the rear
 
I totally think its a bad evolution for the FX. I'm sure it looks better in person as does most new vehicles. But why take a great looking x-over and put in cues from the smaller (EX) line?!?!? They should have kept the two lines very distinct and different. I really do not like the EX looking rear.
 
this looks really good on the side, but i gotta wait to see it in person for the overall look.
the back/rear section does look like the styling of the ex. i can already see the "glorified murano" or "just a big ex" comments.
 
TBH, i actually wonder who is going to buy this. this obviously isnt the type of ride for a soccer mom, and even though the first FX was geared towards males many women bought it; but now theres the EX which is the total chick car.
