i took my fx in for warranty work. i'm having the dash replaced. the loner is pretty cool. the G37 X has great acceleration. the trans fills like it down shift when i ease off the gas though, or it feels like it automatically brake when easing off the gas pedal. the throttle response is alot better than my 06 FX. i would like to know whats so different about the setup besides the seven speed auto trans?

You probably feel the acceleration a lot more because G37x is not a tank like our cars. It also has a different engine.

The G37 uses a 3.7L VVEL engine making 330HP. Everything on the car is different compared to the 06 FX. The whole entire drivetrain is different too. Plus your driving an SUV, so ofcoarse it's going to feel different.

it was nice

i took the loaner back yesterday. i did get a chance to run it a bit, 110mph i could have done more but ran out of road. the G37 had so much more to give, i would had loved to see how far i can take it.

I have one now. Luckily not AWD. It's so easy to spin the tires but I feel like it's almost too fast sometimes.
