2009 aero kit

please update with info on this kit with tech packaeg...
The aero instructions say the front spoiler cannot be used on any FX with the Tech package.
To my knowledge, no one has tried to modify it to work with the tech package. I imagine it probably partially blocks the large ICC sensor in the front.

Gsun, did you install the front spoiler yourself, if so how was the install.

I dont have tech package.... Here's a closer look of the front ..... Hope it helps!

Yeah its pretty easy, it came with step by step instruction. Just need a tape, drill, philips head, 1/4 inch wrench & socket. It is much easier if you have power tools.

Good stuff, thank you Gsun, I installed the front spoiler on my 2nd gen G35 sedan and it is probably the same thing.

I love the look of that spoiler.

I have to find out how it would affect my tech package and why they say it can't be used with it.

Unless the ICC sensor is really on the bottom, the chin spoiler would definitely blocked them otherwise I don't see any reason why it can't be done...

Here are a couple pics of the front sensor on my ride, do you think they could be partialy blocked with the addition of the spoiler.

Thanks for the close up pics, I appreciate that.

It really doesn't look like there would be a problem , does there.

I don't think so. It doesn't look like I added a kit there.

This is before the kit, it looks pretty much the same.

the problem may be reflections from the spoiler I think, it can act like one of those sun catcher mirror things at times I'd think. maybe a strip of flat black under the whole area where the sensor is could minimise that. I'm sure theres some reason infiniti would say not to use it

You make a very good point John, it may be the reflections that are the problem. I don't think I will purchase this unless someone else with the Tech package decides to be the guinea pig and tests it out.

Not sure if you guys notice but that part of the kit is not painted from the pic that Gsun attach..

either way I will have my kit this Friday and well see if I have any issue, will keep you guys posted...

I don't think there's gonna be a problem, it has more than enough clearance for the ICC and the small shiny part in front of the kit is not going to cause for the ICC to malfunction. Now if you are blocking the ICC that's a problem otherwise it can be done!

But anyway Good Luck Brian...
