H-Tech springs gives you about 1 finger gap between tire and fender lip at all 4 corners.
Eibachs springs front fender is just about even with top of tire, the rear has about 1/2 finger gap between fender lip and top of tire.
Going with coilover allows you to have the fender lip even with the top of the tire at all 4 corners, this is the goal for most. Some go extreme and just drive as low as the car will go.
The lower you go the more camber you get, anything lower than H-Tech you'll need the front upper camber arms /with the rear camber arms and bolts in order to get back to near oem alignment specs.
In other words if you wanted a 1 1/2 finger gap between the fender and the top of the tire all you needed was H-Tech spring which go for about $225 shipped. Having the coilovers allows you to go much lower but at a price tag of just about $975 shipped
Here is a pic of my last set-up before going widebody:
At this stance I would also drive with my 2 girls & wife which made the car go even lower, had this for about 2 years. The rear tire was almost covered by the rear fender and had no rubbing at all. My new stance with the widebody is now higher as I wanted the car to have an aggressive look, she now has a small rake from rear to front.
Your M will looks much better if your fender lip was even with the top of the tire on all 4 corners, the VIP vent shades will just make your car look even better, I love white cars.
