2006 FX35: Lowered and Freshly Detailed!

Hey all,

I have posted some pictures in the past, but none since my FX was lowered. I recently had to replace my transmission (under full warranty) at 69xxx miles! And have since had the H&R springs and Stillen / Z Tube intake installed. I don't have much in the way of future plans, as I will be getting a second generation FX in the fall / spring. The FX is the most fun I have had while driving, and the overall experience has been enhanced by the installation of the previously mentioned mods. Well enough of my ramblings, check out the pictures. Detailing was completed by Chris Bojarun, owner of Immaculate Auto Detailing in Upper St. Clair (Pittsburgh, PA). Thanks for visiting!

I went back in to ImageShack to resize the images to make them larger, and it didn't work (user error, I'm sure!). If anyone can resize my images, please do!

Thanks for all of the positive feedback! The wheels were modeled after the Lexus ISF initially, and certainly do have a hint of GT-R to them! You wouldn't believe how easy it was to get the wheels painted (yes painted) this color. I took my FX to the Infiniti dealer here in Pittsburgh, and they introduced me to their "wheel guy!" Well turns out, this guy fixes and customizes wheels for all high line dealers in the greater Pittsburgh area. I met with him, and told him I wanted the wheels to look ISF'sh / GT-R'ish, and we mixed two parts PPG black, w/ one part PPG graphite. Got it done in about 4 hours, and cost me $400.00!!!!!

As for selling the wheels when I buy a second gen FX, I will be trading them in with the vehicle, as I will be buying an FX with the 21's!

And yes, there was a tornado warning in my area yesterday and an ensuing severe thunderstorm, so much for the detail, ha!
