it's a clear choice the IS250 AWD. i was actually considering one before getting the FX...whatever you do. do not get the BMW, trust me on this, all it will give you is transmission and electrical problems...BMW also has very poor quality and reliability issues

To late, already pulled the trigger but thanks for the feedback. I have remaining warranty and pre-certified an additional 2 years after, so don't have any worries in the near future.

The Lexus didn't have the driving character that the BMW did. Either way, it was the wife's choice in the end.

BMW has alot of catches to their service program. i have an uncle who bought a new X5 and has been at the dealer frequently for repairs. i'm sure he doesn't abuse the car either. after the service period ends then that's when the problem will start kicking in. in my opinion, there are way too many 3 series out on the road and the is250 looks more agressive and less of them. stylingwise, id still go for the is250. that's just my opinion. everyone else has their own. anyways, congrats on the new BMW!

I've never had a single problem with any of my BMWs. Or Audi's for that matter.
