FLAT HEAD SCREWDRIVER
JACK
JACKSTANDS
  
SAFETY:
ALWAYS USE CAUTION WHEN WORKING AROUND ANY VEHICLE.
NEVER LEAVE A VEHICLE RAISED ON A JACK ALONE, ALWAYS USE JACKSTANDS.
WEAR SAFETY GLASSES AND NO LOOSE FITTED CLOTHING.
NOTES:
PROBABLY WOULD HAVE BEEN EASIER IF I FULLY REMOVED THE SPLASH SHIELD.
  
--RAISE THE VEHICLE ON THE SIDE THAT YOU ARE WORKING ON TO CREATE SPACE BETWEEN THE WHEEL AND THE WHEEL WELL SPLASH SHIELDS.
  
--REMOVE THESE 10MM BOLTS UNDER THE CORNER SIDE OF THE BUMPER THAT YOU ARE WORKING ON.
  
--THEN THIS PUSH RETAINER.

  
--REMOVE THESE PUSH RETAINERS USING A FLAT HEAD SCREWDRIVER.
  
  
  
--PRY THE SPLASH SHIELD OUT OF THE WAY TO MAKE ROOM FOR YOU TO WORK. IF YOU WANT TO MAKE IT EVEN EASIER YOU CAN FULLY REMOVE THE SPLASH SHIELDS BY REMOVING ALL THE RETAINERS THAT HOLD THE SPLASH SHIELD ON.

  
--I FORGOT TO TAKE A PICTURE OF THE COVER THAT NEEDS TO BE TWISTED OFF AND REMOVED TO ACCESS THE BULB.

TWIST AND REMOVE THE BULB CONNECTOR
  
  
--PUSH DOWN AND LEFT ON THE LEFT BULB RETAINER AND PUSH DOWN AND RIGHT ON THE RIGHT BULB RETAINER.
  
  
--SWING THE BULB RETAINER DOWN AND REMOVE THE BULB.

--INSTALL YOUR NEW BULB AND REVERSE THE STEPS ABOVE.
--THIS PROCEDURE IS SIMILAR FOR BOTH HEADLIGHTS
ANOTHER NOTE:
I WAS INITIALLY WORRIED ABOUT SWIVELING THE HEADLIGHTS AND THE AFS SYSTEM, BUT ONCE I STARTED THE CAR THE HEADLIGHTS AUTOMATICALLY WENT BACK TO THE STRAIGHT POSITION.
HAVE EXTRA PUSH RETAINERS, I BROKE A COUPLE.

TWIST AND REMOVE THE BULB CONNECTOR

--PUSH DOWN AND LEFT ON THE LEFT BULB RETAINER AND PUSH DOWN AND RIGHT ON THE RIGHT BULB RETAINER.

--SWING THE BULB RETAINER DOWN AND REMOVE THE BULB.

--INSTALL YOUR NEW BULB AND REVERSE THE STEPS ABOVE.
