2005 FX35 Liftgate warning will not go off!

So the Liftgate Is Open warning will not go off and the liftgate is not never open when it pops up while I am driving, when the backup camera is on all day everyday and I dont know what it wrong or how to fix it. The Automatic door lock does not work and neither does the buttons to unlock the doors from the outside could that be the problem?
 
Don't know about 1st gen, but on 2nd gen (like my 2011), the liftgate warning indicator is included with the door warning indicators. The rest of the post is unclear to me.
 
I have the same exact problem. comes up on the nav screen "liftate open" even though its clearly closed securely. Any solutions to this problem yet? only thing i can think of is just changing the entire actuator thing that closes the trunk because thats the only thing i think could logically be it. only problem its alittle on the pricey side
