you might have an issue due to your Akebono BBK that the FX50 comes with.

This is what rimsntires.com says:

Wheels: Wheel 1 Wheel 2
Wheel size 21x9.5 ET 50 18x8 ET 30
BackSpace 183 mm (7.2'') 144 mm (5.6'')
39 mm (1.5'') shorter.
Rim Lip 1 mm (0'') wider
Typical Weight ~ 43 lbs / 19 kg ~ 26 lbs / 12 kg
Tires: Tire 1 Tire 2
Tire size 265/45-21 265/60-18
Section width 265 mm (10.4'') 265 mm (10.4'')
Sidewall 119 mm (4.7'') 159 mm (6.3'')
Tire diameter 771 mm (30.4'') 775 mm (30.5'')
4 mm (0.5%) taller.
Rim sizes 21x8 to 21x10 18x7.5 to 18x10
Circumference 2421 mm (95.3'') 2434 mm (95.8'')
Revs per mile 664.8 661.3
Speedometer Assuming that this is OEM tire and speedometer readings are correct >>> When speedometer reads 60mph (96.6km/h) actual speed will be 60.3mph (97.1km/h): 0.5% faster.
Typical Weight ~ 38 lbs / 17 kg ~ 42 lbs / 19 kg
Wheel+Tire Weight ~ 81 lbs / 36 kg ~ 68 lbs / 31 kg
Clearance: Package 1 Package 2
Suspension Assuming that this is OEM wheel/tire and there is no any problems with clearance on both sides >>> 100% clear (leaves even more room than OEM)
Fenders Package will stick out 20 mm (0.8'') farther. Make sure that you have enough room under the fender. If not, consider narrower tires or higher offset.
Wheelwells Will fill out the wheelwell by extra 2 mm. Almost no difference

I was in the same boat as u trying forever to see if this or that would clear. Then I just went and bought the 1 setup that I know clears for sure. I'm pretty sure I posted the details in my jdTrader thread.

Thanks! Found a sweet set of used Blizzak's used less than a thousand miles for $400 and the rims for 300. less than half the cost of a new set of tires and rims from Tire Rack. Want to see if I can make this work.

It's not the width or clearance from suspension and fender you need to worry about. It's whether or not the 18" rim will clear your caliper. I'm leaning toward no; I'd do a search on 1st gen guys who installed the Akebono brakes. I believe that the OEM FX 18"s won't clear and if that's the case, I doubt the OEM G wheels would clear either.

Edit: NVM, I believe the 18" G coupe wheels will fit. G sedan won't or would require spacers.

Yep, I am only worried about clearing the calipers, I know the rest is not an issue. The wheels I found are from an 04 6MT (brembo's). I will measure twice and cut once for sure!
