2003 - 2008 Paddle Shifter Installation

Use a 1/2" drive 18" break bar with a cheater extension bar. Yeah, its a bit tight at first, but after that. Just like anything else.:sneaky:

I know this is years later, but if you're still here @la_fx35 I was curious if I would need to buy all the steering components to add paddle shifters. Based off of your pictures the only difference on the steering column with the paddle shifters is the shifters themselves, am I correct? So if I could find a way to mount my own paddle shifters with my own switches, it would still work? Or is there something for the shifters that I need in the new column? Thanks in advance, and for all the info you've already got posted on this forum. Really appreciate it as another FX35 owner.

Yep, if you not using a oem clock spring to mount the paddles, you will need to find a way to mount the paddles. No change to wiring.

Hi, I'm just curious if what will happen if pressing both paddle shift at the same time?
What will happen to the relay and gear box ?

will it crush ?

if yes anyway to avoid it ?
