What is suspension?
The suspension system consists of the shocks/struts and springs in both the front and rear. Coil-over systems combine the shocks and springs into one assembly and usually include a certain level of adjustment (ride height, shock dampening force) not seen in the original configuration.

Things to consider when converting to aftermarket suspension springs or coil-overs kits:
1) Re-calibrating the alignment and adjusting the camber and toe if necessary. If after realignment the camber or toe is still off oem spec and cannot be adjusted any further than you may have to look into purchasing aftermarket camber/toe kits.
2) Rubbing issues may occur once lower springs or coilovers are installed with the addition of aftermarket wheels/tires and/or use of spacers, which may lead to having the front and rear fenders rolled or shaved
