2003 - 2008 Infiniti FX35 FX45 Kido Racing Coilover Group Buy LIVE

those adjusters pictured are more for a different design, like on the 350Z's for example... the shock adjusts from a little allen key at the top of the shock shaft and these extenders make it so you can cut a hole in the interior trim and stick the adjusters out so you don't have to remove the interior trim for each adjustment. those won't work on the fx at all...

Oh ok thanks Andrew, I think I understand what you're saying lol.

Has anyone received theirs yet? If so, how about some feedback. I'm buying but going to be in and out of state a few times over the next week or so. It will kill me to know that they are sitting on my doorstep and I'm not there to install them. Also, where is the rear adjustment? I didn't see any in the pics.

^^^ No one has received anything yet, here is Ed's post.... As of today, Kido is sold out of pillow ball mount so only standard upper strut mount is available for immediate shipping. Kido is waiting for the raw material (aluminum) and will produce more and have them ready for shipping by February 10th, 2012 due to Chinese New Year in Taiwan (Kido is closed from January 20 - 29th)

Quick question: I talked with the shop that does everything on my FX and was quoted $650 to install the coil overs. Thoughts? I have no clue the amount of labor that goes into this, I'm just looking for some replies with how much this should cost me. I thought $650 was WAY high, but I've never used coil overs, so I could just be uninformed.

why dont you follow a diy instead? plus you will need a alignment afterwards

My install $175.00. Fair shop price $175-$350.00 yeah, I'd say your quote was on the high side. Maybe they don't understand the simplicity of the install and are padding the esto. Not a good sign if they have to pad. Find someone who does CO's lot, a shop that understand that there will at LEAST one return with a dial in for height.......

Ohhh goodness, I don't think I could do this myself. I don't have any tools, and really don't want to mess anything up. I think I will find another shop because $650 is crazy. I will definitely shop around because $175 sounds more like it.

Find a buddy/cousin/girlfriend/inlaws with tools. Looking at the DIY it's pretty straight forward. No way I'd pay $650 to install COs. $150-250 maybe

I recently have my BC coilover installed by my regular shop at $ 220

Guys, forgive me as I have been traveling & busy. I talked to Kido again when they came back from Chinese New Year holiday and just yesterday, they finished making enough pillow ball mounts for us. They are now assembling and packing with the target shipping date of Friday, February 10th, 2012 as expected.

I need to send two PM's to jcasanova & Logan to re-confirm shipping address and phone number for shipping company.
