2000 Infiniti G20t with 140,000 miles, value is around $2,000-$3,000. How long will these cars last? I've been starting to see some problems, e.g. parts getting old, radiator needs replacing, hoses, etc...

Nissan has a deal for a Nissan Altima for $199/month only $2,999 down. Hold on to the G20t or spring for the new car?

I'm hoping to drive the G20t till it dies, but I don't know how good cars are after this many miles. I mean parts only last so long, but I'm optimistic it can last 200,000! Thoughts?

I don't see why it wouldn't get to the 200K marker with some basic maintenance and replacement parts.

car payments sux. so limit them when possible.

as for the old Infiniti, make sure you dont change to synthetic if it was running conventional oil. but if you already have syn in it , I guess thats good.

I also have a 2000 car with ~140k on the odom, thinking of selling it also (but mines is a v6 accord with a chronic trans problem, damn hondas! go vtec!)

Keep it till it dies Ed! And the you can till rebuild or even replace the engine and drive it another 200k miles, lol.

G20 has no power, but I've driven 1, & it's gotta be up there with one of the best handling front drivers ever . . even stock. Nicely balanced lil' car

Feels like a scooter engine, but it's fun to drive. It's for gas mileage, not power.

I'm bringing it to Infiniti to get their opinion.
