1st Test-Drive tomorrow

Infiniti prices in Northwest region is pretty high especially in Oregon.
I paid mine $32k from Beaverton Infiniti about 6months ago. It was 2006 FX35 with all the options except DVD player, 29k miles, 30k service done, certified, and brand new tires.

And if you wanted something with very good reliability, you should tried out Acura TSX. That thing is bulletproof with great mpg. Also we have 2002 Honda CR-V that is nearing 200k miles without major issues. Only wear and tear parts that started to break aprat after 100k miles.
 
Vinyl wrap? There is a local window tinting place that quoted a detail job on our 4runner recently (car wash was painting and got overspray all over it) and they did all that vinyl wrap stuff. They were vinyl-wrapping a brand new Porche in Gold while I was there.
I'll call them Monday for a quote. Any idea on what 4 door handles, and the grill would cost?
I normally just paint everything myself. The door handles though - not sure about painting those myself. I'd rather pay $40 for some vinyl - than go through the hassle of removing them. Painting door handles while still on a rig is kind of a PITA.


Yea - I tried to talk the wife into a TSX - and also a TL (our friends have both) but for some reason my wife didn't care for them? I loved them both. We did look at the newer CRV's....and they were considered. They were kinda too econo-boxy though. When this thing fails mechanically - I'm blaming the wife - and she won't be picking out her own vehicles anymore....LOL....
 
haha.. i had both '05 TSX and '07 TL-S before the FX. they were new cars so never had reliability issues but seeing other guys' TSX & TL in acura forums, they go over 100k without major issues other than tires and brake pads.

and about chrome grille & door handles...
never paint over chromes unless if you're going to sand down all that chrome before paiting. for the chromes, vinyl wrap is the way to go.
 
my bro has a 2g TL he bought used, been trouble free after 4 yrs, i actually think its better built than my FX to be honest. The new TL is a lil weird looking but that '09+ TSX looks amazing.
