1st gen buttons?

i believe they are for the seat warmers, you have pics of what you asking about?
 
Eject button is next to seat warmer button on first gen's. On the second gen's they moved it to the drivers door panel for safety reasons.
 
There were a couple of different configurations for the first gen due to a refresh. If you mean the strip of controls on the seat itself by the thigh cushion, that's where the seat adjustment switches were from 03-05.

It was changed at the start of the 2006 model year with other interior and exterior changes.

It would be kind of fun to put a little decal on our buttons saying eject. Especially on the newer Infiniti's with the blank button on the center consoles, near the seat heaters/snow buttons.
