100K Maintenance 04 FX35

Well, ive been looking around doing some research on what kind of maintenance should be done to the FX now that is nearing 100k miles (96k as of now). Im thinking on doing pretty much all the fluids myself with some help from the IS DIY section: transmission, engine oil, differential (both), transfer case, power steering, brake fluid, also replacing parts like the spark plugs, getting a new battery, new Belts (shop will take care of these ones). I noticed that no one mentions the water pump on any of the threads related to maintenance not even the service manual, is it necessary to replace it or not?, and what other parts should be replace at this mileage and where can i get them from?.

Sounds good. I don't think the water pump is a routine replacement item. Might want to research oil in the #6 plug well and whether you want to do anything about it before you take it down for plugs. I didn't and w/o ill effects AFAIK. I have about 165,000 on mine, and haven't done the diffs or transfer, brake fluid, PS fluid. But did do the shocks and tie rod ends and sway links. What a great car, I might buy another.

Some members here say that the fluids should be done by now, and already bought everything i need so those are getting done for sure... ill be sure to look into the oil in #6 plug issue, hopefully my FX doesnt not have problem. Thanks
 
When I hit 100k I got an oil leak from the oil cooler gasket. Might want to add that one to the list. $4 at Nissan dealer, or $10 at Infiniti dealer. Very simple diy. Other than that, your list is strong. Have the wheel bearings checked also.

I had the front wheel bearings replaced not long ago so that's out the way for now. I haven't seen any leaks coming from under the car so far but, I'll be sure to check again. Thanks.
