Hi. I joined because I am having an issue that probably has been addressed on the forum previously related to the CCU of the camera system. (I am getting four red triangles on the screen). I appreciate any help and hope to re-pay it based on my previous repairs. BTW, have you ever replaced a starter on one of 5.6 engines? If I ever meet the engineer that designed that clown show... I will inform them there are easier ways to do things.
Back to the issue at hand. Since I am getting 4 red triangles at once, it seems like the CCU (Infiniti 284A1-5ZA0A) is the most likely problem. I see the CCU available online from multiple sources for <$100. I have identified the location is behind the cenetr stack. Looks like a reasonably simple repair to try and see if it fixes the issue. My question is - are there any special instructions since I am messing with the electric system? Any recalibration that will be required? Any special tools / equipment needed? Thanks.
