1 problem in otherwise a flawless car

Every time I start the car whether it's a cold start or if it's been driven already, when the RPM reaches the 2K mark, i hear pinging noise and then the RPM goes down to engage in another gear. it happens only once after I start the car and get it moving, after that, no problem at all. I searched around but could not find a proper explanation or solution to this situation. The closest problem I could find is DETONATION. I believe it's my spark plug doing that but can't confirm anything. Any input is appreciated. Dealership is 19 miles away so I will be more that happy to solve this by myself given that I have the solution.
 
but then how come the noise is so distinct now then when I first bought the car. it wasn't noticeable back then but now even with the audio volume at 16, I can hear it. Any particular reason?

the one I go to does not sell diesel. and I never had a problem with that place when I had my 350Z. Been buying by gas there for almost 3 years now.

yes it happens in 1st gear only, around exactly 2k rpms.
more like 10 mph at that time.

Now that I think about it, I believe its the AWD system that I meant to reference above. It makes a very audible clicking sound when you take off at around 15mph or so. I just noticed that you're RWD though, so it wouldn't apply to you anyway.

are you maybe referring to the ABS system check?
 
so that is a normal ABS check operation and not a detonation process?
it sound as if you pulled an overly tight guitar string- sharp but brief noise.
I don't know how you could relate that to ABS
 
its the ABS system testing itself and its normal, its coming from the front left corner and sounds like an arrow hitting a tree "thunk"?

just wait till u here and feel ABS actually kicking in when it needs to, you'll think a part of your car just broke off.
