Bump, for progress report on Hollywood's Fx,

How is the spring install going??
 
Here is an update Hollywood posted on another thread a couple of days ago.

"Eibach update- I'm picking my FX up from Eibach on Monday, they say it will be about 4 weeks for them to get those pro springs built.. I'm working on getting a group discount put together for everybody on the Scene, but I won't know the details on that for another week or so..

I had them heat shrink my springs about an inch for in the mean time as well, I'll post some pictures next week.. This is finally happening guys!!"
 
Well, now all we gotta do is wait.. As Stu said, I picked my car about an hour ago.. Looks crazy seeing it sitting lower. I'm gonna wait until I get my wheels put back on (hopefully tomorrow) before I post some pics, she kinda looks funny rollin on stockers with the roof blacked out now. Definitely feels different while driving, I'm diggin it... THe guys at Eibach said it will be about 3 &1/2 weeks until the new springs come out and are available for purchase.

As soon as I find out more I'll be sure to let you guys know!!!
 
Well, I just did my regular weekly call to H&R about springs for the 2nd Gen FX35. They said they have been getting a ton of calls. I told them Eibach might beat them to the punch, and she said she is going to report the interest in them.
I'll get whatever ones are ready first. I've been waiting for a year now.:mad.:

I second that. I'll get whatever ones are ready first as well. Both companies are reputable (although slow).
 
I am really getting pissed:mad.:

I did my weekly call to both Eibach and H&R Springs. Both places say it will be at least two more months for spring availability for the 2nd Gen FX35. Us 2nd Gen guys are getting the short end.

That can't be right with Eibach bro, mine are going to be done in 2 1/2 weeks.. Call and ask for Phong in R&D.. Tell him you saw that Hollywood's ProjectFX was in there for R&D and wanted to know how long it was going to be... I think whoever you are talking to is uninformed....

Today I told them that I knew someone that went in to get fitted for springs on his 2nd Gen. They said they will have to be final fit and tested on that vehicle and then it would take a couple months to get them out of production.
I'll call them again tomorrow.

I call H&R every week with that same Part #. They have not started to produce them and they will not be available for at least 2 more months.

H&R has been saying they'll be ready in 2 months for over a year now. :)
