09 FX50S Seat Belt Retract/Rewind

Hi,

My drivers seat belt no longer automatically rewinds when I unbuckle it but as soon as I open door it rewinds. Every other function seems to work including the belt tensioner after I buckle the belt. Any ideas? Is there more than one switch in the buckle?

I think seat belt is under manufacturer warranty for 10 years, you should call the dealer and ask
 
They go bad after a while. My fronts work fine :) , but rears need help getting back in (which I can deal with). I asked dealer, & out of warranty for me. Been told it's Expensive fix
 
Thanks. I dont know if it is part of the tech package or something else but the belt seems to have an electric re-winder vs just a normal spring. I hopped into my passenger seat today and buckled and unbuckled the belt. The belt did not tension itself nor did it rewind when I unbuckled it. With some help it will rewind but I never hear the motor sound that I am used to hearing. I don't know if the passenger seat belt has the same system that the drivers belt does but I thought that it was the same. I will call my service advisor today and see what he has to say.
 
Quick update......still haven't got around to calling my dealer but decided to try something myself. I disconnected my battery for a while and reconnected it. Belts are working correctly now.
