Hi, new owner of a 2011 FX35 with the 20-inch wheels. I have the Bridgestone Dueler H/P 92A OEM tires. At 2,600 miles, I am already experiencing cupping on both front tires. I see the are rated 260AA so I know they are soft but this seems excessive. What kind of mileage did you get out of the tires?

Second: I know the Yoko Parada Spec-X are a great replacement choice. Has anyone had any experience with these relatively new Firestone Destiantion ST tires?

No experience with the Firestones, but I have the Parada Spec X on my 09. I have them on my summer rims (20") and they are wearing very evenly and have lots of tread left with 18,000 miles on them. I would purchase them again.

I have the OEM 20" wheels with the Bridgestone H/P 92A tires as well. I have 41K miles on mine and their still the original. No cupping or uneven wear on mine but their starting to look bald. I have the same brand new Bridgestone Dueler's waiting here to be put on again. I purchased the same model again due to the fact I'm happy with these. Their super quiet and the tread wear is pretty good for a soft tire.

By the way if your tires are cupping you may have an alignment issue.

Wow, I can't imagine I'd get 40K but I guess you never know. I say cupping but it's really just the smallest amount of feathering at the sides. You almost can't notice it but if you look very closely you can. With 2,600 miles, I'd expect them to look new still. I'll certainly watch it but the car tracks perfectly straight and the feathering is even on both front tires.

I would definitely get the alignment checked, it should not be showing any signs of wear like that.

It goes in for service in the next few weeks so I'll have them check it out. Thanks.

most new cars are out of alignment to some degree from the factory. it is part of the reason "factory" tires never seem to last as long as the second set which usually gets aligned with purchase. i always negotiate an alignment as part of the purchase. last 3 cars, 2 being Infiniti were out of alignment from the factory.

Update: Just got the car back from the dealership today. The alignment was out of specs, so they did a 4 wheel alignment and rotated the tires under warranty. I'm still not thrilled with these tires as they seem to be loud on the highway, but at least I know why they had just barely started feathering.

Thanks for the advice guys!

Good to know Fire got 41k out of them. I have 25K on my tires right now. I was thinking of going with the Parada Spec X when it comes time to replace the OEM tires. They are priced well and like you mentioned they have a lot of good reviews.
