'07 FX35 or '07 FX45?

Been thinking about getting an FX for a while now and if all goes well, I'll have one in the next 48 hours! I've narrowed it down to an AWD '07 FX35 Touring/Tech/Hands-free with 25K miles for $30K or an '07 FX45 Touring/Tech/Hands-free with 17.5K miles for $37K. Both prices are what the dealer's asking but I'll probably be able to work it down a bit. Numbers aside, what's the general feeling? I'm leaning a little towards the FX45 due to its lower mileage and extra power but is the extra dough worth it? Gah, this is stressful!

you plan on modding it under the hood? there's a heck of a lot more options with the 35... but if you're just leaving "as is"... go with the 45.

but either way... get wheels and lower it

Same is exact question has been asked many times. But it all boils down to what you want and what you feel comfortable with. Gas mileage difference is not that significant but if you are into engine mods then a 35 will be more friendly but if you want out of the box power and torque then the 45 is the likely choice.

I'm going to keep it bone stock and finally feel good about having a great driving machine when it snows versus throwing ghetto chains on my Accord and praying, hah! The FX45 I test drove pulls to the right noticeably on smooth and bumpy roads, hopefully that's just an alignment thing? The AutoCheck report is clean but it shows that the car was registered as a lease vehicle at 2,000 miles. Who the heck does that? Maybe it was a dealer demo or something and it racked up a lot of miles before someone leased it?

Go with the 45. I drove my current 45 and old 35 back-to-back today and was actually surprised at the difference...far more significant than I had remembered.
