07 fx35 headlights

Im sorry if this is posted somewhere but i tried searching and looking around found nothing....
My friend has an 04 fx35 and his amber corner lights turn along with his low beams, i have an 07 fx35 and my corner lights do not turn on with my lowbeams, but the bulb isnt burnt out b/c they work fine as turning signals. So my question; is there something wrong with my headlights or was this just a changed made in the model years

The side marker/corner/parking light in the headlight should turn on with low beam or parking light position. The side marker/corner/parking light should not flash with or as turn signal from the factory. If so, his much have been customized.

the signal light and side markers are 2 different bulbs.

I have an '07. Side marker (the little strip light) stays on all the time when headlights are on. The turn signals (light next to headlights) only comes on as turn signals. Totally separate bulbs. If his turn signals are on all the time, he may have done the mod that swaps the DRL (square light next to headlight) w/ the turn signal bulb. Headlights are interchangable between all first gens, so there should be no wiring differences.
