Hi,
My name is Geneiveve and I am the proud owner of an Infiniti fx35. Recently my car stop working. I had it scanned and the codes P2101 and P2100 come up. My mechanic has changed out the throttle actuator motor, checked the relay, replaced camshaft sensor and nothing has worked. We are at the point where we think it could be the ECM. I guess there is a wire that the computer is not turning to a ground when you turn on the car. I believe he said he fixed the wire to a ground but it still not working. Is there a way to make sure it the computer/ ECM?

Hi. Both codes point to the throttle actuator. Best to verify the harness and plug end to end before replacing the ECU.

After verifying the harness (if it's good) spray contact cleaner onto the contacts in the plug (both ends), reconnect and see what happens. Be sure and clear the faults before starting.

I wouldn't be surprised is the ECU has to re-learn the actuator, or to calibrate it first.
