05 FX35 vibration (Need help)

It was a rear brake caliper sticking. The dealer wanted $758 to fix it. I said no thanks I will do it myself. The check engine light was a computer malfunction and they said they had to take out the dash and clean the wires and grounds to fix it. It only costs $550 plus $100 for the scan.


The brake problem could happen on any vehicle but that computer malfunction is BS.

They should reimburse you the $100 for the scan if you get it fixed there. At least that is what my dealer does.

I just got back, they reimbursed me for the scan.

That blows. I'd complain to corporate. That's a lot of money to spend on "not the problem".

My local guy fixed the caliper $198. Infiniti dealer wanted $700.
