Hi guys,

I wonder if the Goodyear wrangler tires are good for the 05 fx35 AWD? the size of the tires are standard for the car, 265-60-18.

I'm getting a pretty good deal on the used tires, 4 of them for $325. But they have been running for 18000km, how much trend would it be left on the tires?

Thanks

I have not used those particular tires, but from past experience with Goodyears tires I would suggest you try a different brand of tires like BF Goodrich's Longtrail T/A tires. However, you are getting a good deal on the price so maybe it could not hurt to check them out.

I paid 515 shipped from discount tire with TPMS rebuild kits. Stock tire size too. 325 for used isn't horrible if they are not worn unevenly and have ample amounts of tread.

unfortunately 80% of the owners that have 18 inch rims use them for snow tires. not much info regarding tires for 18 inch rims

what sucks is the lower the profile of the tire, the higher the road noise.. usually high end touring tires are designed to be more of a "comfort" tire and not create alot of road noise.. i.e: michelin pilot/primacy mxm4 but obv not made in our sizes... but bridgestones alenza hl is more oriented in that category and the kumho kl21 also
