'05 FX35 back from the custom stereo shop

I wanted to introduce myself to the Infiniti Scene, and give a big thanks to many of the members as I sought advice on how to customize the stereo and add GPS to my 2005 FX35. I was able to get a great custom job re-positioning the head unit below the tape player, and have a new Kenwood double din DNX6960 w/ GPS and BlueTooth installed in the factory location.

The install team at Audio Lab Car Stereo in Laguna Hills, CA. did a amazing job of customizing the location and re-positioning the stock Information System. I can say I couldn't be happier. I've got a iPod hook-up and a back-up camera as well installed for a very reasonable price and with no problems to note. The new Kenwood unit brought to life the stock BOSE speaker system. I feel that the sound quality is 2x what it was with the stock head unit. Thanks for all the idea's on the project. I'm unable to post pictures until I get to the 10 count, but send me an e-mail and I will send over all the pics.

Thanks

Pics of Stereo

:smile (2): Check out my album, I left it open as public, and posted the first few pics there. The best part is they repositioned the hazard button, and the put the iPod jack into the center console.

Just checked your pics. The install looks really good and clean. Like how the screen is down below. Ever thought of putting the screen where the sunglass holder is? I agree with you on how an aftermarket headunit does bring the bose speakers alive.
