05' FX remote start??

:k::confused:so I am walking up to my rig and I have the Intelligent Key fob in hand, just had the vehicle only about a month and am still not used to not clicking anything to unlock doors... DUH. So I click the unlock button roughly 3 times like a neurotic fool and the damn vehicle turns over!! didn't know I had remote start?? or do I? I am really confused about this.. found nothing in ownder manual stating I have the option.. I have the 2 stock key fobs (oval)... any info on this would be greatly appreciated before I rename the rig "Christine" ;) thanks!!
 
remote start was not a factory option so the previous owner of your fx most likely installed it. :-) congratulations

Yup my guess is the same. Nice little option you got there! You can probably take the FX to a audio shop and find out what type of remote start you have installed.

:frown: the previous owner of mine wasn't as cool. Just went out and tried it. Clicked it 3 times. nothing. 4.. 5 times. nothing. congratulations on a great find!
 
yeah before the winter starts i'm getting this thrown in because last year at school my FX would be freezing and wouldn't warm up until I got to my destination lol (a few miles radius)
