SO I LIVE IN THE BAY AREA AND I HAVE A 2003 FX35 AWD WITH NEW MOTOR AT 70,000 MILES LONG STORY SHORT ABOUT A M0NTH AGO THE CAR STARTED TO MAKE A CLACKING SOUND FRONT OF MOTOR TIMING COVER AREA I OPEN THE HOOD AND SEEN THAT THE CRANK PULLEY WAS WOBBING AT IDLE CAUSINF THE KNOCKING NOISE SO I REPLACED THE CRANK PULLEY AND CRANK SEAL AS WELL AND BELTS AND THE CRANK PULLEY WAS STILL WOBBLING. TOOK BELTS OFF AND STILL WOBBLING AND MAKING KNCKING/CLACKING SOUND. AND NOW THE WOOD RUFF KEY IS BROKEN AND WHERE THE WOODRUFF KEY SITS ON THE CAM AND THE CRANK SPROCKET THERE MIS ALIGNED MEANING THAT THEY ARENT LINED UP SO THAT THE WOOD RUFF KEY CAN REST WITH THE CRANK PULLEY.
