03-06 and 07-08 - different MAF sensor?

Friend of my wants to install intake to his FX but heard from one seller that there is differend MAF sensor so intake from 03-06 will not fit his '08 (vq35de).

Is that true?

Shouldn't be. On G's and Z's, they went to Revup motors which are slightly different, but the FX engine should be the same.

I thought one was shaped a little different at the mounting point, and they are two styles.

The mounting holes are indeed different for the MAF sensor for different model years and sometimes in the same year with production dates.
