Windshield Wipers

^ Those are not OEM. My dealer said they had those too and I said no...I don't want these colors in my face while I'm driving. Wipers you just change when they don't wipe for you as good as you want them too....don't need an indicator to tell you to change them when they are still working as if they are brand new.

the manafacturer of the wiper if i recall was from infiniti. I changed my oem wipers 6 years after the day i purchased lol, and it was still fine to use.

I just put on some Pep Boys ProLine wiper blades on my new to me '04 FX. A buddy of mine put on his FX45 and he said he was happy with their performance. I was about the get some Rain-X Repel wipers, but they seemed to have mixed reviews and were more expensive to boot. As long as they don't chatter and do an okay job of clearing the windshield, I'll be happy.

I know it's an old topic, but will 2nd Gen wiper blades without the metal superstrucure fit the 1st gen wiper arm?

I personally suggest you get a frame type wipers instead frameless. I tried frameless before, it didn't wipe as clean as frameless since the frame type provides more pressure on the blade against the the windshield.

Most wipers as long as the length is the same, they should fit. They normally come with various different type of clips you can use to clip your wipers on your wiper arms.

I suggested, PIAA Silicon, I have tried Bosche X-evolution and Icon, nothing lasted longer than PIAA and nothing performs better than PIAA, specially in below freezing temp.

i bought frameless wipers from the dealer few months back, and it has this built in sensor
Yep.

I went to get new wiper inserts a few weeks ago from the dealer. The parts guy said they have those or the frameless kind. I got the frameless kind since I've had good luck with them in the past. The box says they are made by Valeo and they were only $15 each which is a better price than brand X at a parts store. The sensor is only a small dot that changes color over time and is hardly noticeable. They have performed very well since I installed them.

I've tried the Valeo before and liked them. I got mine originally from TireRack for 19.95/pair. (buy one, get one free)

I had the oem frameless on my '07 G35x and they were fantastic, which is why I was curious if the oem frameless for the 2nd gen FX would fit my 1st gen.

Frozen windshieldwiper fluid
Is anybody familiar with the fact that the windowcleanerfluid was frozen during frost in winter. I suppose is was only frozen in the "sprayhead" on the wiper itself.
Because it catches cold wind and freezes more easily?
