AC takes too long to blow cold air on hot days

Car
2009 FX 35
On hot days, my 2009 FX35 takes too long to blow cool/cold air after I turn on the air. My commute home is about 30 minutes and it barely begins to blow cool air by the time I pull into my garage. A few hours later I get in my car and it's hardly blowing the cool air it was when I pulled in my garage a few hours earlier.

This doesn't happen on cool days. What could it be?

I just got the car two months ago and they added freon to it, but this still happens on hot days.

Make sure everything is running properly, the compressor is kicking on, the condenser fan is running. If they had to add refrigerant two months ago, that already shows an issue.

Thanks everyone. Would you guys recommend taking it to an Infiniti specialist or would any AC specialist be able to help?
You might have a leak in your a/c lines

Most likely there's a leak or you have a weak compressor.

Any reputable shop can do it. Just make sure they put flourescent dye in it to find the leak afterwards with a uv light.

Leak. AC is a sealed unit and if you had to add r134 then it had to have escape somewhere. Since you just got the car.. The seller told you about adding freon and was "like look we topped off your freon", but in actuality he could be just covering up that it had a leak.
