Dumb question about H&R springs

Just got my H&R springs delivered. I have a dumb question though. What color are they supposed to be? I've seen pictures where they look clearly black, and a few others where they look blue. These look like a deep purple color. Are there different colors available, or just the lighting in these multiple pictures has set off a different color?

Mine were a dark blue/purple color...I think it's just lighting that affected the color in the pictures you've seen.

Also, what have you found is an appropriate amount to pay for installation before alignment (or at least the best we can align a gen2 w/o a camber fix). Shops around here want anywhere from $450 to $700 before alignment and I think that's BS. Shouldn't be more than a 3, maybe 4 hour job. Am I wrong?

$300 is usually the going rate for spring installs, then after you have had them on for a few hundred miles around $100 for an alignment.

Mine were blue, and I installed them myself.

Also blue here but I guess can pass for a light purple maybe and paid 150 with spacers installed. It's an easy job and took no more than an hour

Mine were black, but I have a first gen and this was 6+ years ago. And 3 hours labor is probably about right. The fronts require the springs to be compressed so that will add some time. IIRC, a friend's shop did mine and it was about 2 hours working quickly.
