Maintenance manual doesn't state how much capacity each holds. Does anyone know?

Transfer Case
Front Differential
Rear Differential

I changed my rear diff oil in my 2005 FX35 and drained approx. 2 liters when i wanted to fill i could hardly put the whole 2 liters back in it. At first it already started to ran over at 1600ml by closing with the bolt every time (and ofcourse it has to settle in) i succeeded to fill at 1850ml which should be sufficient. So i dont understand that it was at first filled at 1600ml? It is in fact impossible to fill up higher than the refill point.
Does anyone has an explanation.

I can't see how one can fill pass the refill port. Unless they tilt the car such that the fill port is up higher than normal position.

I wouldn't worry too much about it.
Make sure you're on level ground...

Hi, I'm going to change the fluids on my 2010 FX 35. with 40k miles on.
I read the char, that I found the transfer case is using the Matic J fluid. Tranny is using the matic S.. they use two different types ?
Also I see the front diff using 80w90, and rear using 75w90.. will I have issue if I use 75w90 on both?
Pls advice

My FX is RWD. My understanding is I only have rear differential to worry abt? There should be no front differential or transfer case correct?

My car is also 2010 fx35 RWD. Wonder if "Valvoline High performance gear oil SAE 80W-90" will work for the rear differential?
