20" x 8.5" Advanti Hybris on Platinum Graphite '09 - What do you think?

Greg, here is what I said earlier. By the sounds of it you are using your TPMS sensors, if you are, they are already silver, similar to this:

A nice valve stem cap that I use is the Infiniti valve stem caps like this.

Thank you! I was confused (seems to happen easily..) and thought the TPMS screwed into the chrome valve stems.. Didnt realize the valve stem is a part of the sensor!

LOVE the look of those valve stem caps! Any issues with rust? I've seen similar ones online and reviews said they rusted after a few months.. Must have been cheap knockoffs.. Can I ask where you got those?

Can anyone recommend a TPMS hardware kit for the OEM system to replace the seals?

those are the OEM accessory caps. I just bought a set from Suburban of Troy along with my cargo gear. they were like $10-11

I purchased those caps from Suburban Infiniti of Troy when I got my rear aero pieces and no problems with corrosion since I don't run them during winter.
lol purchased at the same place ^^^^

I'll definitely look them up! Thank you guys!

Would this be the correct hardware kit for OEM TPMS? 2009 FX35 is listed in the options but this is all foreign to me, not sure if this is a cheap POS or missing something I need...

The tire/wheel shop that is doing this should have what you need, I never worry about it you worry too much

And here I was thinking being detail oriented was a good thing LOL :bulgy-eyes:Habits from my job carry over to my personal life I suppose.. I've half-assed enough things in my life, dont want this car to be one of them!

Got my new wheels in over the weekend! I'm going to coat them with Cquartz tonight and hopefully get them installed this coming weekend!

Question for you guys, would you suggest coating the inside of the wheel as well or just the front face of it? Planning on doing two coats.. I'm also going to coat my Aero Lip while I'm at it. Cant wait to put that on!

Unfortunately I havent been able to put the new wheels on just yet... Got them double coated with CQuartz this past weekend and the plan was to make the swap this afternoon... but then it started snowing again!! Probably best to wait until this passes...

Thanks! Aiming to put the front lip on this weekend and have an appointment to tint the front windows on Monday.. Nice to start checking some things off the list!

Looks good. Probably should have went with wider wheels tho but still looks good. Now I see what my fronts are gonna look like if I ever mount the wheels

you have a similar set? I didnt want to go much wider, was afraid they'd make my tires look too 'low profile'

I have Niche Circuit waiting to be media blasted and I need front tires for them. But mine is a staggered setup, 8.5 front, and 10 in the back. I got the wheels for 300$ with TPMS so I couldn't resist buying them. But if I bought new I would have went with 9"-9.5" for the front. On 8.5, 265 tire looks a bit too bubbled if that makes sense. It would look much better on a 9-9.5" tire and it wouldn't look low profile or stretched.
But don't get me wrong, I still like how it looks on your car since it's all the same all the way around. Mine will be looking weird since the front will look bubbled and rear wont haha but everything will cost me under 500$ so I don't care.

Just googled them, those are sharp looking wheels!

What a steal!!! So basically you bought the TPMS and had the wheels thrown in for free :) well played Sir :congrats:

Absolutely, on the OEM 8" wide wheels I think the sidewall is definitely too high. Mine are on 20x9"s and personally think they look 'right' at this width

yes but they will be most likely painted OEM silver color and won't be black/machined. I don't like that look. Wheels were cheap because clear was peeling of them, and I have a friend who can blast them to bare metal for free. Then I have to paint them OEM color and I have wheels for free basically.

I like the OEM HyperSilver color, think it looks great. Mine are a graphite gray with machined faces.. If they ever start to chip/flake in the future, would probably do the same thing you are - media blast them down and repaint in silver

The only time I really like black wheels is on a white car, then I think the contrast looks great
