Speedometer has gone crazy

Hey guys, I've been having recent issues with my fx over 210k miles now on it. Trying to debate if it's about time to get rid of it. The speedometer went out last night RPM, MPH, gas and temp no longer reads anymore, mileage now reads 999,999. I've tried to check on all the fuses I pulled everyone and they seem to be okay nothing blown, but it scares me now I don't know how fast I'm going besides using GPS on my phone, the gas within the Navi was working for a day now that has also stopped. I also tried pulling the battery out for a bit to see if that would reset. No luck there either. When night lights come on the whole center console lights don't switch so I legit drive in the dark besides the Navi screen. Only thing I have changed in the past month were hid lights, I've tried looking this up but not much success there any help would be appreciated!

It might be a grounding issue and water leak behind the dash entering throught the engine bay.

I'm probably gonna disassemble the dash tonight to see if I can get behind it to notice anything, was just really strange was working maybe 15mins prior no problems at all then it just went all crazy lol

Check the plugs/harnesses, something may be loose.

I'll make sure to check for the ground wires for sure that gives me some hope ! Whereabouts would I find the ground wires? Somewhere in the engine bay ?

If you are talking about the link that i posted then it is under the intake tube and filter box

I checked the ground wire, pretty dirty but overall everything seems intact, this is absolutely driving me nuts blehhh

I am at this point at a complete lost, one last thing that I'm going to try is to unplug the cluster and plug it back in to see if that would fix it ? maybe I just need a new cluster, but before I shell out $600 for a new cluster, anyone have any ideas about used clusters ? like if I buy one with 70k miles, does it program automatically to show my correct mileage ? I really don't want to mess about with mileage fraud, lol

I saw some used speedometer clusters on Ebay for under $200.00 and a place in Saddle Brook, NJ that you can send your unit for them to fix for less than $90.00 or drive there and let them fix it......(just a thought)

Thought I'd just jump in on this thread instead of starting a new one (I was going to use the same title!), I have (or had) a issue with my speedometer but couldn't find anyone with the same problem. about 6 months ago my speedo died on me (only the speedo), disconnected the battery for 30 min and after reconnecting the speedo worked for a week and then went dead again, I just left it for what it was and drove with a gps. after about 2 months the speedo showed signs of life and started moving around random, a couple of months later it really woke up and moved around faster, but backwards, then after a couple more months I noticed the needle was pretty close to my actual driving speed, after watching a couple of minutes I realized the speedo was working agin. That was about 7 weeks ago and its still spot on. Anyone had the same experience or any idea what's going on?? ( I've got a feeling it will come back some day)
