Did all the supporting mods.. Catback exhaust, plenum spacer 5/16, Stillen cold air intake. Thinking about high flow cats.. Still getting 12 to 13 Mpg. Always drive my mom to work and back home in the city.. When I saw the numbers I thought it was true.....[emoji25] bda7f9051e3ef06cec07c21a7b4e4a91.jpg

If you reset it and then drove mostly highway it skews the number.

But mods don't really help with economy at all, I never noticed any difference with bolt ons. The FX is heavy and you're AWD which has more driveline losses. I get ~13mpg in primarily city driving. On a road trip, it's ~23 mpg. But the starts and stops of city driving take a toll since every time you take off you have to get all that weight up to speed.

You probably are getting about 10 city, 19 highway. Get a Dyno tune. Have them do a smooth power curve vs. top end power. The MPG won't be OEM but it will be a bit better.

On my 05 FX35 with Nismo S tune muffler, mid pipe, kakumei y pipe, kinetix HFC, stillen intake, 5/16th spacer, throttle body spacer, mail-in TechnoSquare tune, I was getting 9 city, 20 highway, with 236AWHP/240 AWtq driving around on a lean tune (never got it dyno tuned or retuned)

Mods wil not help your MPG but it comes down to how you drive it :)

I thought techno square doesn't do tune for the FX anymore?? That's what I heard. But I am thinking about it once I figure out the high flow cat to put on it. Also, will I feel the changes to the tune?[emoji4]

My technosquare tune was done in 2009. Apparently Stock 1st gen FX35 AWD dyno around 212 hp on average. Mine was 236. You won't feel the additional ~20 horsepower necessarily but with a proper dyno tune they can tune the power band to give you power in all the right places, meaning you will feel "more" power.
my FX never really felt "faster" just got more responsive after the tune because of the power band adjustment.... a proper dyno tune probably would have given me higher numbers though.

from what I've learned with the 50 though, you could have 10hp less total after a second tune but have a much more powerful power band with more torque down low because it is a BETTER tune.

But with bolt ons and the 1st gen, you're not really going to see much higher numbers unless you start going nuts with building up the motor etc - and what I tell everyone is to NOT DO ALL THE BOLT ONS and if they want power to just save up for forced induction. The money spent on 20hp tops is not worth it. Save up and go forced induction or just add a nice sounding exhaust and call it a day...

Or get a 2nd car that's actually fun to drive. It would probably be cheaper to get a small car you can rip around in and tinker with than properly boosting or supercharging the FX.
