Screen mirroring on '09 fx

2009 infiniti fx35
I bought the Samsung Allshare cast for screen mirroring but it's not working for some reason. It works fine in the house but when I try in the car it doesnt connect. I'm wondering if it has something to do with the HDMI to RCA adapter but not sure. Any suggestions?
 
Your welcome. It worked for me great and you should have no issues with it. I ordered a second one just to have as a spare once I verified it worked.

ER brake bypass done, HDMI/RCA converter came in and everything works perfect…. Thanks guys your input made it happen!

That looks like an awesome system! Are you able to use the steering wheel controls with it? Any downsides? I currently use the TuneAir ViseeO adapter which works pretty well for the audio via Bluetooth. The only issue with it is that I can't transfer contacts from my iphone to the NAV unit since the pairing disconnects my phone automatically when I try using the Inifiniti system. Plus, it doesn't do video.
 
No steering controls. It's basically apple tv...easily stream to your nav any video without any connections.
