GTSPEC + Nismo brace for 2nd Gen 2009+ FX

Yeah. Enjoy the brace. Didn't mean to start up anything. Said in jest

It's sort of hard to knock off a company that doesn't do any real engineering or manufacturing or designing. Unless they actually put a GT Spec logo on it, it's not a knockoff since GT Spec is just buying from the same manufacturers as the eBay sellers.

And I don't think the OP ever claimed it was a GT Spec anyways. He clearly said NISMO which it isn't either of course and his rear GT Spec bar is genuine. Did he buy it off PEEJ who coudln't fit it on his 50?

No, I haven't sold my rear lateral brace yet. It's at home just sitting on my garage bench. I need to post it for sale here soon.

Haven't had a chance to test fit it yet, spend too many hours at work.
As some have said, its not the greatest engineering design nor will it make a huge different with the car. But it sure does feel good to spend money on parts; I do the same with my bikes lol

I didn't mean to start anything either, and I understand that most of these are made cheaply and branded anyway. However, looking at the welds on this vs. the authentic GTSPEC branded ones, the GTSPEC ones look better made regardless of being from the same factory or not.

as it was said, they are mostly some bling for the engine bay. It does tighten things up a bit, but really just for show unless you get the entire setup and actually drive the car as if you needed them...

enjoy them!

Hi!

I wrote to you not long ago and I believe you said the bars only come with "FX35" engraved on them. Is the engraving shown in the OP - Infiniti - available?
And can you confirm if these are made in China or South Korea?

Thanks again!

Hihi, Wyatth

Thanks for your inquiry. We are sorry about its no longer engrave Nissan or Infiniti, we had received many letters from Nissan USA ( not Nissan Japan) this year, for remove and stop manufactoring the trademark of those. We believe that we are not the only to get Nissan's letter. Even the items we listed on Ebay which did't mentions the vehicle brand, just the model name only (fx35, fx45).

Mans, dont' worry. Its manufactoring in Korea and ship from Hong Kong. To be honestly, China is high costs right now, most enterprise moved out.

We believe that made in China is not are problem, as you see Apple' s products. Its designed in USA maybe, but born in China. its the quality control or whole line control they concern. I am using Huawei phone, its absolutly made in china. Wonderful!

Our Carfield Enterprise, was start up in 2005, sales of JDM Mazda parts. We well known it, most of parts born outside Japan (like Korea, Thailand, China). Even if Mazda Speed products, like strut bar made in taiwan, emblems made in korea etc.

Totally understood!
I agree not all things in China are bad, it's just the lack of consistent or standard QC.
Anyway, so the bars now say FX35? Seems like Nissan would take issue with that as well. Do you have any non-engraved bars?

OP - any update on fitment or feel?

Its a rough diagram to shown hows the strut bar make you feel difference (before and after).
I hope you understand it

Steering wheel axela, wheel axela and the strut bar (tower), these triangle like is the point.

Really, none of these bars are more than just decoration, if they do anything at all. GTspec included. Since they all have a single bolt that holds the bar onto the mounts.

I put all four GTspec braces on my FX50 and I had noticeable difference in the ride stiffness. Not saying that everyone will have the same experience but I noticed the difference right away especially after installing the front strut and front lower ladder brace.

Neva4self, does your FX50 not have real wheel steering?

I am sure with 4 braces you would feel a difference, I am mainly talking about the aluminum hinged strut bars. An even better design would be, solid constructed steel bars without a hinge, like OEM manufacturers build.

totally agree that front strut bar and lower ladder bar gives a strong feeling.

Like Gee said I dont have the FX50S so I don't have the rear, steering adaptive headlights or the extra font seat support under legs.

Yeah the difference was definitely noticeable instantly but I agree wit you to a certain degree. I do feel like the majority of the front stiffness comes from the front ladder brace.
