Instrument cluster lighting issue, speedometer and gas background led not working

So i went ahead and degreased my engine and then hose it down. Everything went smoothly. I sit in my car and noticed as the title suggests, the speedometer/gas background lights arent working. Funny thing is that the rpm background leds are working. I dont know when this lighting failed, after the wash i performed or happened days before. I hope i blew a fuse or something. Any insight? thanks. Ill post pics asap

Might be a loose connection at the cluster behind unplug it & spray alil contact cleaner on plug & plug it back in. Or could just be the bulbs.

Blown fuse maybe? Maybe you accidentally short circuited something. Any loss of electrical functions such as certain set of light that went out?

My cluster lights went out too when I short circuited my fog lamps.

Double checked and all lights are working except speedo/gas. Seems like only the right side of the instrumental cluster is affected. Hopefully there is a fuse for this. Also how so i get to the led bulb?Thanks

You may have to check all three fuse boxes and see if any fuse is bust. I hope that's all it is that's causing the issue

Checked all 3 fuses and everthing is working, unless i missed a specific fuse. This sucks.

So i went ahead and gave couple of hard taps behind the instrument cluster without removing anything and the light came back on. Thanks for all the feedback guys.

Weird.. My speedometer reads erratic speeds at times.. Everything is fine, including the tachometer.

I have to give it a couple hard taps for it to show the accurate speed. For the time being, I use my Escort Passport 9500ix for GPS speed

Good to know you had that gremlins sorted out. I wonder what truly caused it.
