Looking to replace my Yokohama PARADA SPEC-X with something else. Running 285/40R22. There is a limited selection of tires for 22 inch wheels it seems.
I am was happy with the Yokohama when I got them initially but now disappointed in how quickly they've worn and how the handle poorly with low tread. Had issue with balancing and went to get that adjusted over and over again at Discount tire. I was also considering the below but the price for the Achilles is just terrific!

Nitto NT 420S $208.00 each Set of 4: $832
Falken Ziex S/TZ-05 $223.00 each Set of 4: $892
Achilles Desert Hawk UHP $135.68 each Set of 4: $543
Nankang SP-7 ($268 pair) $134 each Set of 4: $536
Lexani LX-Twenty $164 each Set of 4: $656

Any help appreciated!

From my experience, I would not buy Nitton 420S again. Is so noisy after about 6 months.

Interesting been searching seeing mixed reviews for both the Nitto and Falken. Found a couple more brands at lower price Nanking and Lexani. Update the first post

I ran a predecessor to the Nankang SP7's for about 3 years. Treadlife was great, there was pretty minimal wear for about 20K miles. I only had them on the front though, so no idea how they'd fare in the rear. Traction was ok, no real complaints, they had decent grip and no weird handling characteristics.
