2018 Infiniti QX70 Redesign

I honestly have no idea what infiniti has been doing the last 3 years. It's like they have been sitting on their fucking hands.

waiting till 2018 to refresh the FX/QX70 is ridiculous. That means the current model which came out in August of 2008, will have been around for almost 10 years.

Go find me another vehicle which has a design cycle of 10 years. that's ridiculous. Infiniti really dropped the ball here.
 
Yeah they did. If anything the'll probably add dtrl to the headlights & possibly another face lift or another rebadge! Lol. Wich isnt something new since some of us have already done it.

This is not limited to Infiniti. Practically all auto manufacturers are following increasingly extended product lifecycles. Nissan, Ford, Dodge, and Chevy (to name a few) are no different.

MACAN IS SOO NICE wow its like an FX AMPED UP BEAST MODE with ULTRA QUALITY. fx GOT NOTHING on the Macan. love that car.

im in love with the FX35/45 body over the latest gen thats why the macan hits hard for me cus its so similar in shell shape kinda.

dude. you are spot on. i mean look at our fx it was 03-08 -- 5 years i think is a good amount of time. then you have fucking civics that change body styles year after year.

the murano vert is so fuked up i saw it driving a few months ago in vancouver otw downtown night time and i was like WTF? why invest millions on millions to invent that pos all they do is rebrand infiniti. like srs wtf q70? i like the name G37 way better. ima search that eau rouge now.
 
Per article: QX70: A redesign is likely for late 2018 or early 2019.

That's just ridiculous lol....guess I will hold onto the FX for a while longer. Orrrr maybe look into the Macan....
 
Am I the only one who thinks the rear of the macan (specifically the tailights) look terrible?
 
To each their own, but, yeah, the Macan doesn't do much for me either.
 
the back is the best part.

i aint gonna shame on porsche. it doesnt look good in pics for some odd reason but in person the car just rocks.

Probably;) I'm a big fan of Macan. Its the only smaller SUV that I would replace my FX with. Not going to happen anytime soon, I like my ride a lot. Just going to get a second car next, which I don't really need.

I was so so close to getting the Macan a few months ago but my rational side kinda woke my ass up and i decided at the last minute not to buy it.

And yes RSS meaning Range Rover Sport [emoji6]
 
I really love my 05 FX35 and will most likely be purchasing another one. I'm wondering when the new design will be presented, so I know if I want to invest.

I've seen them in person, still looks awkward to me. The rear tails look squinty and weird.

The front of the car is basically all Cayenne, which is to say it looks fantastic.

Overally I prefer the SQ5 over the Macan.
 
If no money was no option...I would still take a Cayenne Turbo over the Macan Turbo.

Back to topic....I just can't believe we have to wait ANOTHER 3 years to even see the 3rd Gen!!...it better be freaking otherworldy and they better
make a version that can compete with the Cayennes/X6s/RRS of the world....

Was just reading an old article from early 2000s...where they pitted the 1st Gen vs the Cayenne vs the X5. The FX won hands down and they
were saying how it was top dawg in that market segment. Infiniti needs to get that old swagger back!!
