Ok guys here's the deal! I have the bug deflector and sunroof visor on my car, the problem is they have faded and are nolonger black but more brown. What are your thoughts? Paint? If so, what will hold up best? Tint? If so, with what? Or vinyl? If so, again which will hold up best? I also have the window visors that are holding up great and are still black. But are obviously a different manufacturer. I hate to remove the brown ones so any suggestions would be helpful, thanks in advance!

Just a thought but since you want to keep the hood deflector on, how easy would it be to wrap the face of it in a black vinyl. The vinyl does hold up well on our front bumpers etc.

They make film to smoke headlights and taillights. I think that would be your best bet if you still want to see through them. It should hide a lot of the brown, but depending on how dark you go, it may still show through a bit. It will have similar durability to vinyl but be a little harder to install as it's typically a little bit thicker. It's not a bad install though.

Thanks for the replies, I guess I should have said in my post that I'm really not concerned with the transparency. I thought about wrapping them but it would be a pita and still would be that durable IMHO. What about flexible painting options? Any thoughts?
