Brand new to the forums so forgive my lack of knowledge for our cars. I just purchased a 2013 FX37 yesterday. While test driving this wasn't going on. Once i got home i noticed that what appears to be the Ebrake light was flashing on and off periodically while driving. There is also a light that appears to look like the traction control symbol (VDC?) that stays on? I did a little bit of research and some say that the vehicle needed brakes or brake fluid. I had the brakes and brake fluid checked today and both seem to be fine. Any ideas other than going to the dealer? Any help is appreciated. Thank you

Welcome. First, I'd take the car back to the dealer. Although inconvenient, you've only had the car for a day.

This happened with my last car several times, but only when I hit a serious pothole. Turning the car off and on usually solved the problem, but there was one time where it didn't. Once the car was on a lift, I was told that it had something to do with the ABS sensor(s).

Thank you. I would but i did purchase the car "as is". I may have to bite the bullet and go to my local dealer.

This is a very common issue with most Infiniti cars and they are very sensitive to the brake fluid level in the master brake cylinder, it must be at full mark all the time. On my G37x when it happened my dashboard was illuminated with a bunch of warning lights and when I went to the forum I found out that all I needed to do was top off my brake fluid level and voila problem was solved.
