So after digging thru all the dead threads / old threads, I still have not seen any good solutions on getting iPhone 5 or Samsung S5 to either stream bluetooth or either adapters to change it to 3.5mm or either lightening port ( that charges also). Any good ideas to this fix?

Cause I have bought 2 30 pins bluetooth connectors and one of them does light up and does connect but does not play any music thru. The other one just does not light up at all and does not even broadcast any signals out.

And for the one that does connect but does not put any music thru or sound the interface still says "No iPod Connected" (or something like that).

So please please please help me out!

Oh BTW its a 2009 FX35.

Thanks in advance.

Hey MTN FX, Thanks for the warm welcome! I have a 2009 FX and has that weird AUX.

This one powers on and does broadcast a pairing signal and does pair with the iPhone and samsung. But does not transmit any music at all.

any help? I ended up using the RCA but I wish I can use the bluetooth set up though.....

I was hoping you found a 30pin adapter that would work properly. But I'm also using the RCA inputs. I'm currently waiting for some new hardware from china that would really take the entertainment system to the next level.

Hey Dopie, welcome back. Last i heard you were in Taiwan and you said ull be back with a maserati? haha
anyways, i was the one who picked up your stillen renamed nismo strut bar and fujita short ram intake years back.

I got this bluetooth streamer from Amazon and it does music but does not do the phone. I think bluetooth is standard on the 09+ fx35. I have a HTC 0ne m8 and it changes automatically from this device to the car's bluetooth if I get a call. the device is small and plugs into usb in armrest and just get a 3.5mm jack that converts to RCA. its a nice setup because everything is in the armrest.
