Aluminium Belly Pan

Hey party people! I really wanted to put some nicer photos together, but then I figured a quick and simple video clip could allow people to see more angles and pause as needed to wipe the drool before watching more. This in definitely not the best video, but it is what you'll get from a guy with his cell phone on a stick and a few minutes to spare. . . . Then I had some fun with the video editing. If I knew I was going to get this close, I would have washed (or at least wiped down) the underside.
The cover fit up great on install. It uses all the factory holes and fasteners. I'm only attached by 6 in front and 2 in back; there are 2 screw holes on either side's fender liners which I have lost the clippy-things. Still, the engine cover is plenty solid. I've gone well over 500 miles with it by now.
Just to cross it off the list, I should be testing the cover on a 06-08 FX45 next week. I wanted to do an oil change to best feel out the oil door, but I may not have the time. If nothing else, I'll at least shove my tool up the hole and give it a good once over. The oil door gives tight access to both the filter and drain plug, but I guess tight access might need to be expected with a pan staying on.
More review to follow, but so far this belly pan is a "must have" in my book.

Yes, I would like a Black one w/ Infiniti logo. Question does it have some coating to protect against rust? Salt here in the Midwest is something serious.

Matt, request for some various installed photos?
I want to do a photoshop. I can change the black to Bare given enough lighting. Would like a shot of entire car from a few angles if possible. I'm still concerned of the look without that lip. If it's bare, it might accentuate that. THX!

Took another look at the car. Not too worried about the look, but I would still appreciate the photos. Thinking more what effect this has on aero once that front lip is gone

Thoughts?

Here are some more pictures of the belly pan installed.

. . . . and then I saw the request for full body shots. The pictures below are older and with no belly pan on at all. Since the TBW pan is high and tight, this would still be the same look with the TBW installed.

I still do have plans to test fit on a 06-08 FX45. The chances that the pan will fit all Gen 1's is so extremely high, that I'm really only doing the extra fit check as a convenient precaution. My suggestion for 06-08 owners is to get on the list if you are wanting to buy. I'm sure I'll fit test by next week and tollboothwilley will make them sometime after that.
