haha . . . you guys have been giving me too hard a time about that. It was all for myself today. Kitty everywhere & the bikinis seem to be shrinking these days. We were in state of bliss allllll day :biggrin:

The new FX badging with that silly S. I'd rip that off too if I had one.

the way I see it... there are 3 basic reasons why people debadge their cars... they'll say they're going for the "clean look".... yeah, whatever.

reason #1 They got into an accident, rear ended, and saved some money, told the bodyshop to NOT put the emblems on. The intention may or may not be anything further than the simple fact that they don't care, and simply want to save a few bucks

reason #2 I've seen fast cars like BMW M3s/M5s, Mercededs Benz AMGs,ZO6s debadged because they DO NOT want people to know what they've got. They want you to think they just have the base model so you won't be prepared when they blow you away off the light (not that the base model vette isn't fast enough or anything)

reason #3 is probably the most common one for debadging... they bought the inferior model, and they would rather not let people know what they have.
 
Will get better gas milage, beats V8 & costs thousands less . . . yet still inferior?

FX35 and a FX45 with full tanks of gas. :driver:

Thats right, FX45.

BTW: after I installed my MD 5/16 spacer my computer reads 19.7 MPG avg. (70% hwy 30% local) I gained about 1-2 mpg.
I did feels better pulling from all rpm band, but the thing that I like most was crsuzing speed is great and easy on the gas.
