I'm not sure where to post this, but I'm looking for a STOCK tow hitch with the 2inch receiver for my 08. Anyone know what it is or where to find one? I prefer new as from what I've read they are a bitch to install, without instruction even more difficult. Thanks in advance!

I got Curt tow hitch from eBay for about $150 and harness for about $60. Install wasn't hard, but it does take some time, I had to remove my exhaust. Have been towing a trailer with two motorcycles to track days, no issues...

Do they still manufacture the OEM hitch? It's like a unicorn these days. I got a Hidden Hitch which was the closest thing I could find to OEM. Similar mounting style, you need to trim the under tray and it's pretty hidden. Rumor is, most dealerships were selling the Hidden as OEM or Hidden made the OEM one.

Thanks everyone, especially SCY7H!

I have looked at all the different options, it seems that all the after market ones are 1" receivers opposed to the stock 2" receivers. For that reason I want stock, plus they bolt up more securely IMO. Not that I plan on towing a yacht or anything but feel better with the extra steel non the less. I will be towing a small trailer with a couple dual sport bikes, a small bass boat and a flat bottom jet boat. Any of the before mentioned doesn't weigh very much and should be fine. Correct me if I'm wrong, but I think our cars were made with towing in mind? IE, the headlight adjustment?

You're quite welcome!

Best thing to do is give the dealer the OEM part number and that will always reference the OEM hitch. If you ask for OEM, they might give you "their" choice of OEM which most likely is one of those aftermarket ones.

Personally I would get the 2" as it works better for bike stands, trailers, etc. Fits more accurately too!
