Couldn't wait any longer…. Had to get new wheels

Looking good, any rolling video shot?

Sent from my SGH-T999 2

Its been really shitty weather here the last few days besides the day I actually got them put on.. I am gonna do a good photo shoot and get some rolling vids to make a little video as well if the weather ever cooperates!

As for the price, I have a few friends in the wheel business so the price was right… It was kinda the deciding factor to why I got them over other wheels.. That and these are by far MY personal favorite looking wheel out there right now. I wish I had "money to burn" but I spent a good year saving up for a set of wheels.. Now I start saving for the BBK..

are you saying to paid 2500$ for wheels and that was a deal you got from a friend?

Another poster said they go for $2500 or cheaper. DRich never said what he paid, just that he had connections and got a good deal, so I would imagine much cheaper then that.

oh I see. I thought he paid 2500$ for these and that was a deal, then it got me thinking how much do they charge for these wheels, you can get some forged goodness for that much $.

He never said it, that was a number I threw out. It's roughly the going rate for 22" Vossens. Some pay less, some pay more, they go for $3K at several stores and I've seen deals for closer to $2K. I have no idea what OP paid, that's his business.

I have nothing against Vossens, I like their styles. I just threw out the anecdote that the prices they charge could get you forged wheels from some places. But Vossen sells a ton of wheels so clearly their price points work.

yea I re-read the previous posts, I didn't read those right the first time

They have 3 different offsets for 22-10.5 wheels now, according to authorized dealer:
+30
+38
+42

How is the ride? I'm thinking about getting 22's but worried if the ride is going to be bumpy285/35/22 Tires

The ride will be different but it all depends on the dimensions of your tires (sidewall height). As long as you don't get rubber bands to wrap around your 22's you shouldn't feel much of a difference. My advice is to run a 35 or 40 on the sidewall with 22's. 22's look great on 1st gens.

that is a beautiful fx
